Multitasking 2005 IDEAS Boston Speaker Tells How He Does It in New Book

September 18, 2012

While 2005 IDEAS Boston Speaker Robert Pozen was a top executive at Boston mutual fund companies Fidelity Investments and later MFS Investment Management, he found time to write six books, teach at Harvard Business School, serve on a number of government and charitable boards, and raise two children. He was also presidential nominee Mitt Romney’s economic development chief for a year when Romney was the governor of Massachusetts. Pozen tells us how he did it all, and how we can too, in a new book to be published next month, Extreme Productivity: Boost Your Results, Reduce Your Hours.

In an interview with the Boston Globe, Pozen says he wanted to reach a broader audience than with his previous books, which focused on the mutual fund industry and how to fix the U.S. financial system.
